REMARKS: THIS ACTIVITY IS ALREADY CLOSED!
Dear External Partners:
De La Salle Lipa commissioned a structural integrity consultant and conducted a Detailed Structural Assessment of Mabini Hall in order to determine the basic safety requirements in conformance to the building code. Mabini hall is composed four buildings,
- Phase 1 (TS Building) – 4-storey building constructed in 2003 – Additional 2-storey with Roof deck 2005
- Phase 2A (North wing) – 6-storey building with Roof deck constructed in 2006
- Phase 2B (South wing) – 6-storey building with Roof deck constructed in 2006
- Phase 3 – 6-storey building with Roof deck constructed in 2007
All buildings were constructed using reinforced concrete slab, beams, and columns. Typically, non-structural walls were constructed using masonry.
The results of the Structural Assessment concluded that Mabini Hall requires retrofitting to fit the minimum safety requirement of the Structural Code especially during the Magnitude 7.2 that is expected to occur anytime. To improve the seismic performance of Mabini Hall, retrofitting design was made by the structural integrity consultant based on our requirements.
In order to properly implement and execute the retrofitting works, DLSL requires the services of a technically and financially capable Retrofitting Contractors that can do the design, supply, and installation for Mabini Hall using seismic rubber isolator.
In this light, DE LA SALLE LIPA would like to invite interested contractors to submit their letter of intent and company credentials to cpd.office@dlsl.edu.ph or you may call us on the following contact details below:
